In the past, our Library has used a DOS-based software product entitled
LC Easy to train our work study students how to file and shelve
materials using the Library of Congress classification system. Last
semester, the University completed its campus-wide conversion from a DOS
network to Windows 95/NT. When the Library was converted, we lost the
ability to use that training software. I have tried every way I know to
run it through - and outside - the Windows environment, but to no avail.
I have checked all the catalogs I have for similar programs, but haven't
located any yet.
Does anyone know of any software - or even maybe a video program,
possibly even an interactive video - that is helpful for teaching
students how to use the LC class system.
I know this isn't something that is usually addressed by this listserv,
but I'm desperate! You can reply directly to me rather than the list
(mabace@mail.saumag.edu). I do appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks so much!
