Other than occasional maintenance and cartridge
replacement, the Technics models keep on truckin'. They
have been in use for nearly 15 years, most of which took
place before 1992. We purchase styluses from Radio
Shack. The students have to check out this part for use
because it is stolen if left on the machine.
The turntable is attached to a Radio Shack amp which
delivers fair quality of sound. Overall, our set-up has worked
quite well for the students who use the equipment.
Let me know if I can assist in any other way.
