Our music library is primarily stocked with Yamaha LP turntables that are at
least 10 years old. In the last couple of weeks, three of them have either
stopped playing entirely or stopped transmitting sound properly. We could have
them fixed, but considering their age, it might be wiser to just get some new
ones. Does anyone have a make and model they're particularly loyal to that they
could recommend? Something that would stand up to a lot of use?
We're leaning toward Technics, but would welcome any other suggestions. The
availability of record cartridges/needles is also of paramount importance in
our choice. Thanks for any input you can offer.
