Randy,
We have only had 2 formal complaints on video since 1987 (when we began
circulating it). They were:
GILDA LIVE--because of some of her "language". The review committee
retained the video.

My Beautiful Laundrette--because of the homosexuality. The review
committee retained the video.

One of the assistant directors exercised "collection development" and
removed all copies of an Ice-T video before they hit the shelves.
Technically, not a removal of materials, since they had not yet been added
to the collection (but they had been purchased. This was at the time of a near riot in Miami, and this
person felt that the "kill the cops" rhetoric was too inflamatory.
YOur list is a good overall snapshot of what infames "local community
standards".
