The Video Source Book says Harold Faltermeyer did the
music. Perhaps he used some classical themes, many of
which are not copyrighted, and incorporated them into his
own score. You could check with a local video store.
Sometimes they have indexes to this kind of information. I
haven't run across a master list or reference tool either but I'd
surely like one!

Hi, all. A patron is trying to identify a piece of classical
music that was
used in the feature Thief of Hearts. Our copy is missing, so
we can't check
the credits. Anybody out there able to ferret this out (or
willing? Ha ha).
This brought up a search for a reference book that indexes
the song credits
of movies - is there such a beast? Thanks for any help you
can give!
