The answer is yes and no. The Westerville Public Library has a collection
of around 9,000 videos for a circ of around 250,000 a year. Our patrons
think we have a security system because the rest of the library is on 3M.
We tried the lesser sensitive 3M for av items, but the security system was
constanly going off. Now we have a security camera and desentized strips
in our videos. Our theft rate is very, very low and the time needed for
sentizing and desentizing is saved.
