Dearest Videolibers;

The film I'm hoping to locate is "Ellis Island Revisited: Talesof
Vagrancy and Hope". This is the English-language version of
"Recits d'Ellis Island: Histoires d'errance et d'espoir",
directed by Robert Bober and with commentary and interviews by
the great French novelist Georges Perec. (The English-language
version has Perec's words translated by Harry Mathews and read by
him as a voice-over). The film is in color and runs 100 minutes.
It is said to be available from INA and the French Foreign
Ministry; INA is the creative branch of the state-run TV service.
The film, made in 1979 in NY, was produced by INA and broadcast
by TF1 on 25-26 November 1980.

Anyone had any experience with this?
