I hope someone would prove me wrong on this one, but I have a feeling that
the film was not released in 16mm. It had a theatrical distribution in 35mm
and then went to video and laserdisc for the home market. Maybe Jessica at
Kino would know about the possibility of 16mm non-theatrical distribution.
The film was made in collaboration with the American Society of
Cinematographers (ASC) and may have been produced by the AFI (American Film
Institute) both these organizations have easily found web sites. In the
interim a good non LCD video projector equipped with a line doubling system
could provide an image acceptable to the instructor... (We have professors
who sneer at anything less than 35mm)
