It's hard to know if it would work for your professor, but we distribute a
video titled "More than Shelter: The Public Life of Buildings," which deals
with post-modernism (in its architectural aspect) and definitely gets into
the social or "public" impact of the movement. Below is a brief
description; if you would like to receive a brochure that includes the
video please email me directly and let me know.

More than Shelter: The Public Life of Buildings
This video explores the most controversial of contemporary architectural
movements, postmodernism. It examines the far-reaching impact and
accomplishments of the movement and evaluates from both an architectural
and a "public" perspective many of the most famous postmodernist buildings
around the U.S., including the Portland Building by Michael Graves, the
AT&T Building by Philip Johnson, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los
Angeles by Arrata Isosaki. Commentary is provided by some of America's most
prominent architecture critics, historians, and designers. Produced by the
Rutgers Univ. Office of TV and Radio.

"The commentators are authoritative and the discussion is pertinent. The
video is visually striking=8A Recommended." -- Choice magazine
