Actually, this is a new production, completed early this year. It is not
part of The Sociological Imagination (that title is Sociological Thinking
and Research). This video discusses research methods, but isn't specific
to any one field of social science. It talks about gathering and
interpreting data, types of experimental design, and the use of
experimental and control groups. It concludes with a segment on ethics
in research. The video consists primarily of interviews with researchers
from different areas of social science, including psychology,
anthropology, sociology, and history.
