As an example we have classes featuring major directors (i.e., Woody
Allen, Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, etc.), and we would like to have the
majority of their works available for students to study. It would be nice
to have some method of getting slip notices or automatic shipments as they
are released on VHS or laser before they go out of print.
Note: I am thinking primarily of feature releases and not the educational
market.
What do you all think? Could approval/selection plans work for videos and
laserdiscs and would distributors be willing to create such programs?
