Kristine and repliers:Rhino Records is about the only source I
know that has Spoken Word titles on both audiocassettes and compact
discs. We have their set, Great Speeches of the 20th Century -
4 vol. box set. My Booklist review of that title was in the
May 15,1992 issue - page 1706.
Rhino Records has a new title, Library of Congress Presents:
Historic Presidential Speeches (1908-1993) available in both
formats.
I'll supply their address on Monday.
I think many readers on this list will be interested in spoken-word
sources. Please respond to the list.
I still wonder if users have access to cd-players as much as
cassette players.
