Thanks to everyone who e-mailed me about the video THINK FIRST AND
STAY SAFE by Kenneth Wooden.
We contacted Harpo Inc. in Chicago who has the information on Oprah
Winfrey's show and they in turn sent us to Ken Wooden's distributor
"Child Lures" in Vermont who informed us that this video is now
discontinued. It is two years old and Ken Wooden is apparently working
on an update.
This request came from a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer
here in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver who is responsible for speaking
to school children about Child Safety. He had seen Ken Wooden's video on
Oprah's show and was VERY impressed with it. It provides not only
information on child assault and abduction but adult ones as well.
Child Lures also said this video was made into a book with even
more information and the book is still available. It is called CHILD
LURES: a family guide to prevention of sexual assault and abduction.
($15.95 US)
I thought I'd pass this on to you since the RCMP officer recommended
it for all libraries and hopefully Ken Wooden will update the video
portion soon.
