Here at the Iowa City Public Library we have quite a large collection of
books on tape, both fiction and nonfiction. We are trying to decide what
to do with titles that have damaged parts.

Do we attempt to order a replacement for the broken tape or do we just
order a replacement copy of the entire title?

Are there vendors who will sell replacement parts? Ones who wont? (it
is rumored that Dove might not)

Does anyone have set standards for replacing a title after a set number
of circulations? Would this be wise?

Thanks for the help!
