Search for program Big Blue Marble

I'm searching for a program titled the Big Blue Marble, it was shot in the
late sixties or early seventies and may have been filmed by Barbara Kopple.
Any clues?

Also my daughter has been assigned to do a paper about video and television
and it's use and effectiveness in the classroom. Do you know of any material
that has been written on the subject area.
