It may be the dark, gloomy weather outside, but I'm feeling just a
little cheesed off at reference questions posted to videolib,
videonews, AND MEDIA-L, all of which I subscribe to.
Couldn't people post to one, wait a week to see if there is proper
replies, and if that doesn't work, post to the other?
Announcements of conferences, Call for Papers - people need to get
the word out far and wide, so multiple posts are common. But ref.
questions, I think, ought
to be handled judiciously, as some of us take time to get the answers out.
What say you all? While Grumpy Listowner is in Barcelona, I am
