cd-rom support

hi all --

i have been following the conversation on cd-rom collection.
I have a question for those of you who have started building
these collections --

who supports the cd-rom technology? in other words, if a patron
checks out a cd-rom and takes it to his/her office or home and
has problems or questions - do you provide service or do you
refer it to a campus computing dept.?

i would be interested in hearing how this works for you, and
what kinds of problems, if any, your patrons are having.
