At Miami-Dade Public Library, we encase all videos at Main and the large
regionals. What has "steal appeal" varies through the year. FEatures can
go anytime; Black history/hispanic history/holiday videos during those months
, etc. I had never thought about encasing videos in transit between
branches, but it's a great idea--if all of your branches have the unlocking
devices. It's an expensive set-up cost, but in the long run, very cost-
effective.
