Videos in Elementary Classrooms

I was talking with a friend this morning who said she had heard of a case
where an elementary school was sued for using a coppy of "Winnie the
Pooh" in a Kindergarten class.

I don't know whether this case is true or not, but I am wondering if
anyone knows the law pertaining to classroom use of material that
specifically says "Home Use Only". Are there cases that you are aware of
where schools have been successfully sued over issues like this?

The answer and discussion ensuing from this is for my own edification.
