On a related note...
We've been recently told by our IT department that they are having
trouble replacing the VCR in one of our video theaterr that is 1) able
to be controlled by the touch screen *and* 2) able to play PAL VHS
If anyone can suggest a supplier--or better yet--a specific model AND
supplier we would be eternally grateful....

I donated a collection of Jewish films on VHS to a local synagogue.
Everyone comes in saying they don't have a VHS player. Where can they
buy a good, loanable VHS player.- Steve

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
