Midwinter has exhibits and meetings, very few "programs". It can be
attended by anyone who wants to pay the registration! It is primarily
the business end of things for those who do serve on councils and
committees, but it is certainly not limited to them.

Has anyone attended this? It says that it is strictly for ALA's
'governing and administative delegates serving on board, committees and
Council." Does this mean regular ALA members cannot attend? Also, has
anyone been to the Institutes at the Midwinter Meeting?

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
