For those of you who work in public libraries and/or only with media formats this message may have no value.
But if you work with instructional technologies in an academic setting, including classroom set-up and/or computer support, read on.
I just signed off with the printer for the print version of the Proceedings for CCUMC's 2009 Conference.
With sessions on such diverse topics as equipping a classroom for $5000, using Class Capture, shopping for and using student response systems, using the iPhone for tech support, video streaming, green technology, social networking, and digital signage... (among many others) there is great content here for everyone.
The CCUMC conference this year is hosted by Elon University in scenic Greensboro, North Carolina. In addition to all the great sessions there's an outing to a winery, and multiple opportunities to network with friends and colleagues along your same areas of interest.
The conference is October 15-19. There's still time to register! More information is available at the CCUMC website: http://ccumc.org/node/2358
Looking forward to seeing you there!

It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.Received on Wed Sep 30 13:29:30 2009
