Thanks to everyone for the comments. However, if I've said thanks too
soon and someone still has more to say, please don't hesitate.

Dennis, I'll keep my eyes open for a new release. When you said "come
November," it made me wonder whether you were thinking of "Come Saturday
Morning."
;-)

And now I'll tell you why Hamilton College still cares about this movie.
It was based on a novel by John Nichols, who graduated from Hamilton in
'62, and much of the filming was done on our campus. In our library's
Alumni Archives we have a 3-reel 16mm film, but we're not dragging that
out for classroom use!

It's a shame, since it's Liza Minnelli's OTHER good movie.
I'm hoping Paramount (and other studios too) will follow Warner
Brothers' lead and make some of their older catalog titles
        available—even if they're just DVD-R by-demand—so folks who want
to buy legit DVD copies can do so.

I hear at least one studio will be doing this come November or so.
Sorry, but I can't say which one.
