[Videolib] Any source? "The Sterile Cuckoo"

Our library's VHS tape of /The Sterile Cuckoo/ is missing, and I've been
asked to find out whether we can get a DVD to replace it. I suspect
there has never been a legitimate release on DVD.

On WorldCat, there are no DVDs listed in any library. Amazon doesn't
have anything listed. Neither has eBay. I found "like new" VHS tapes on
half.com and alibris.com.

So.... the three DVDs I found on Google Shopping would be bootlegs. Right?

Does anyone have information about a past, present, or future release on
DVD? Or is a used VHS tape going to be our only option?

Thanks for any help you can send me.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
