That or "Desk Set"

Who would you rather be.... Bette Davis in a suburban public library, or Katherine Hepburn in a television network research library?

(And then there's Shirley Jones in a public library in the 19th century in "Music Man" or Sean Connery in a monastery library in the middle ages in "In the Name of the Rose" (can I fit one more "in" into that sentence?)

Ah Storm Center. Must be the #1 film for librarians. Kind of a cross
between 12 Angry Men and Terminator forlibrarians.
VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
