Hello, Kathy,

Bullfrog Films offers "The Next Industrial Revolution" DVD. William
McDonough, Michael Braungart, and the Birth of the Sustainable Economy.

http://www.bullfrogfilms.com/catalog/next.html

With the world facing grim environmental consequences from human
activity, Time Magazine "hero of the planet" Bill McDonough has
identified an exciting path to a positive future. In McDonough and
partner Michael Braungart's vision, humanity takes nature as our guide,
reinventing technical enterprises to mimic natural processes. Can't
happen? It's already happening--at Nike, at Ford, at Oberlin College, at
Herman Miller Furniture, and at Steelcase. Shot in Europe and the U.S.,
the film explores how businesses are transforming themselves to work
with nature and enhance profitability.

"This video should have a profound effect on the way future architects
are educated and how they practice. Every student and faculty in
architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, or urban planning
should see it. We are all students of the environment." Marvin E.
Rosenman, ACSA Distinguished Professor of Architecture, Ball State
University

Best,
Elizabeth Stanley

Subject: [Videolib] interior design

Hi,

Does anyone know of a few titles for videos which introduce interior
design concepts. We would like something that relates design to larger
aspects of the the world, like sustainability or socio-economic issues
versus picking out pillows. It would be nice to give the students a
larger concept of design.

Thanks!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of
issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic
control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in
libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve
as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel
of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video
producers and distributors.
