Hello again,
Another day, another obscure film.

A prof found the 2008 drama, "Kashf: The Lifting of the Veil," in the
Internet Movie Database. Of course, we all know this doesn't prove
anything about its actual availability. I haven't been able to find it
anywhere, not even in WorldCat.

It was made in Pakistan, and the director was Ayesha I. Khan. The story
is about a man, Armaghan, who "returns to Pakistan after 25 years to
search out his Sufi master," and it "explores the pursuit of
spirituality and the inevitable intrusions of the material on those who
seek out a different reality." It is not the same movie as Kashf
al-mastur or** **Kashf hesab or Kashf hisab.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
