If you mean thin ice in terms of ticking them off by asking them to spend money, yes.
If you mean for using home use copies in the classroom, no. That's allowed under the classroom exemption.

But with 20 sections who are going to want it at the same time, I'd look into option of purchasing streamed version. Even if it's not cheaper, it's going to be less of a headache to coordinate.
