We do have a blog to highlight old and new titles in the collection, but alas, n.o.c. (no one cares.) You can see it on the Iwasaki Library webpage www.emerson.edu/library
there's a link at the bottom of the Library home page.
I have a closed facebook group to keep in touch with my student assistants. that works well, but is only for work-related communication.

Subject: [Videolib] AV Marketing

Does anyone use any social networking site - from Facebook, Twitter,
blogs, etc., to promote their AV collections - with information on new
and interesting titles, discussions on film and music, or whatever? If
you do, how do you do this? What parameters do you set? Am I even
asking the right questions? This is new to me, and something I'm
thinking of trying. Thanks in advance.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
