Interested in becoming involved in the Media Discussion Group? The current
chairs, Tom Ipri and Amanda Hornby, are almost finished with their tenure
and are looking for volunteers to take over as co-chairs of the group.

Chairs need to be members of ACRL and be able to attend both ALA midwinter
and annual. The chairs plan and organize the discussion group at these two
events. If you would like to volunteer or have any additional questions,
you can contact Amanda at hornbya@u.washington.edu or (206) 685-1901 or
Tom at tom.ipri@unlv.edu or (702) 895-2183.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
