Maureen,
We did the trial at Hofstra, and have committed to the full Master Academic Collection for academic year 2009-2010. We will be starting a subscription to the Humanities and Social Sciences collections (about 3500 titles) on June 30 pending legal approval of the licensing agreement.
I'd be glad to share experiences, is this something everyone on the list is interested in? If so, I'll summarize the trial. Let me know.
Sarah

Has anyone out there purchased a subscription to a FMG streaming video
collection?
I'd be interested in hearing your experiences-

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
