Ambrose Video formerly distributed a groundbreaking HBO program on date rape, "No Visible Bruises: The Katie Koestner Story". Katie has her own foundation, Campus Outreach. You might contact her to see if the program is still available.

        Hello, everyone!

I would like to call on your collective wisdom, please!

I am looking for documentaries on sexual abuse that meet the following criteria:

        1. Examines individual cases
        2. Is not overly graphic/explicit (could be viewed by undergrads at a conservative, small town community college)
        3. Is currently available for purchase
        4. Costs less than $50.00

Thank you in advance for your suggestions!
        Cecilia

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
