Dear Samantha,
First, there's Elizabeth Allen's MEDIA FOR THE ARTS
(http://art-history.com/) located
in Newport, RI and if still around, Frank Marotta's A&F Video in Geneseo,
NY. There's more distributors and info also at
http://librarymedia.org/visual/visual_resources.htm#visualdistributors

However, I would first suggest getting more information on the film -- if
she knows which artist or what the doc is about. This is exactly the kind of
question the people on the listserv answers very well.

------=_Part_9831_12371442.1196713299839-- VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
