I switched to buying mostly from Arrow Distributing last year, but still
rely on Midwest Tapes for the the harder-to-find items.
Arrow is less expensive, often by several dollars per disc.
Both have great customer service. Midwest's website is more
comprehensive and online ordering is easier but Arrow's site is
serviceable with some helpful features.
Midwest has been slightly better at providing the DVDs before the
release date, usually the week before.
Arrow is on the web at http://www.arrdis.com

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
