The Royal Hunt of the Sun was released in 1969 and deals with
conquistadores in Mexico, but it isn't a b movie.

Hi, this may be a complete shot in the dark but, around 1970, I was
at a cinema in Ipswich, England and I saw a film supporting the main
event. We call this a 'b' film over here and sadly these are not
shown anymore. However, the film in question begins with sunrise on
the plains of America and a native American indian worshipping the
sunrise, only to be made aware of a sound in the distance, this it
transpires, is a conquistadores saddled horse with a blood stained
saddle. We are to believe that the indian has never seen a horse
before and the film is then basically about the taming and riding of
the horse by the indian.
This film made a big impression on myself and I have remembered it
ever since for the photography and colours, and the whole structure
of the subject matter.
I have, since the advent of the internet, been trying to find out the
title and/or if it is available all to no avail. I have scoured your
files hoping to be lucky, but, alas no. So, could you possibly point
me in the right direction as I am at a loss as to what to do next.
I thank you for your help if you are able, if not, thank you for your
time in reading this.
