Mary,

This company is selling a VHS copy, but the representative who answered the phone was not sure if their version includes the introduction. She did offer to have someone preview a copy and let me know....She also said they do not own the PPR.

A few libraries in WorldCat own the version from Nostalgia Family Video (at least according to the MARC record), so an alternative is to contact one of them.

Hi Videolibbers,

This is my first listserv post ever, but I've been a long time reader, and have learned very much from all of you in the two years I've been a media librarian.

I am trying to discover, if the 1940 film Pastor Hall, (in particular, the US version where Eleanor Roosevelt introduces it) is still out there. And if so, does any one offer PPR for it?

Thanks, in advance, for your collective wisdom.
Mary.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
