Gary,

I have used Webcheckout at York College where I was the media resources
manager until recently. I am currently working on getting Baruch College
where I am now located to purchase their software.

It is web based and very efficient and easy to use. They are also very
easy to work with and are always working to update and improve the
functioning of their software. They will be at NMM this year and also at
the CCUMC conference. Here is their URL http://www.onshore-devel.com/

Cheers,
Afua

Subject
[Videolib] Media booking systems/software

hi all

This discussion has periodically made the rounds of videolib in the past,
but I need to ask it again.

Is anyone using turnkey media booking/reservation system or software that
they like? I'm particularly interested in web-based systems. I know
about MediaNet, how about others...?

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of
issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic
control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in
libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve
as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of
communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video
producers and distributors.
