This is sort of a separate issue but advice would be appreciated
None of our titles are closed captioned as we can't afford it.
I get requests to do the CC and am happy to sign off but I feel guilty about
multiple requests for the same title since obviously the same thing is being
done twice. We do NOT have any scripts for our films . The one I must have
had 20 or more requests on is DAUGHTERS OF THE DUST. I don't know of anyway
to keep track so that perhaps the next one who asks could check with
someone who had already done it.
Is there anything we should be doing ( keep in mind we can't pay for
anything) ?

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
