Hello all,

I am looking for examples of informational or educational efforts by
libraries to communicate how films can be used in the classrooms and/or on a
university/college campus. We are embarking on a campaign to educate our
faculty and students about copyright, fair use, etc. and there is a lot of
confusion about the correct use of film on campus. Any examples of
handouts, presentations, informational posters, etc. would be helpful.
Also, any examples of policy statements would be helpful.

If you have questions, please let me know.

Thank you!
Stephanie Davis-Kahl

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
