I'm pretty sure that I asked this question in some form or another, but
I'm in the back-to-school craziness...

If an instructor is planning on screening films for a specific class BUT
wants to also invite the public and advertise them on campus-do they
need PPR or does this fall under fair use? The films are subtitled
foreign language feature films.

As always, thanks!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
