Hi y'all,

Yet another question for the collective brain...

Do you happen to have or know of video catalogs that might include films
on indigenous populations, especially native Connecticut indian tribes?
A new faculty member in Political Science is looking for films done on
current (not historical) social conditions, political issues, etc. for
her class.

I've already pointed the library liaison to the VISIONMAKER and NATIVE
NETWORKS websites, but their titles deal with mostly midwest and west,
and southwest tribes. Before I dig any deeper does anyone off hand know
any video resources on tribes indigenous to New England?

Muchas gracias!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
