Criterion Collection has a few Robeson discs with special features. They
don't have Othello, but there could be a clip in one of the special
features.

Subject
[Videolib] Footage of Robeson playing Othello

All,

A faculty member would like to find any footage of Robeson playing
Othello. Does anyone know if there are VHS or DVD (in or out of print)
that would have this footage? It seems to have been on the South Bank
Show (2004), but I have not been able to find a source for that.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0705828/ Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

mb

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
