Hi-
At The University of Iowa Libraries, we use the 540 field to indicate =
PPR OR situations when we have more restrictive access than normal--such =
as no interlibrary loan.

We also use |5 IaU which is our OCLC institutional code=3Dindicating the =
note is meant only for our institution.
For example:
540 |a Includes public performance rights on campus only.
|5IaU

540 |a Restricted access: no interlibrary loans.
|5IaUjavascript:SetCmd(cmdSend);

This is a searchable field in our catalog so users can do a keywords =
anywhere search for "public performance rights" and get a list of videos =
we own rights for. Our public catalog: http://infohawk.uiowa.edu/F

Evidently this is so important to our users that I will continue to do =
this work even though I have been transferred to a new job :)
