Folks,

We're going to be overhauling our collection development policy in the
near future. I've looked on the web and saw a trend toward more compact
collection development policies (5-6 pp.) with a few addendums (mostly
ALA stuff; Bill of Rights, Freedom to View, etc.) Are other people
noticing a similar trend toward a shorter collection development policy?
Has anyone been through this process within the past 18 months?

All feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John
