What's the turn around time? Ours is a collection-on-demand driven by
faculty reserve requests. I've been hesitant to investigate shelf ready
DVDs because I don't think it'll match our time table. I can get
features from Baker & Taylor Entertainment usually by the next day (this
delights and mystifies me and the requesters)

Hi there,

We use Midwest Tapes. We get Marc records and processing directly from
them. Our DVDs are pretty much shelf ready when they arrive at our
library. There was a time in the beginning where it was a bit rocky.
However, Midwest has been and continues to be very responsive to our
requests and assistance for any problems. On the whole we are pleased
with the service. Once in a while a mistake occurs but not often. It's
been a great time saver for our library. I should say that we are a
county wide public library system and all DVDs come to our acquisitions
and cataloging department and then are dispersed to the appropriate
branch.

you're using and if you're getting Marc records, special processing,
