Hello all,=20
=20
Does anyone else use the Compact Disc /AV Source?=20
I've been thinking about something like this for a while now, and would
very much appreciate some feedback. We are a fairly small academic
library, and acquire perhaps 500 titles a year or so. I would really
like to be ahead of the game a bit in terms of ordering titles that have
been newly released on DVD, as we get a lot of requests for that sort of
thing from faculty.

Thanks,

We have had a standing order since 2002 with:
The Compact Disc Source
The A/V Source
847 869 9999
847 869 9997 fax
We receive excellent service, and appear to receive titles shortly after
they are released which is important to our users.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
