The National Association of Media and Technology Centers (NAMTC) is excited
to announce the 8th Leadership Summit to be held April 19-22, 2007 in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Radisson Green Tree Hotel will be the location
powerful professional development opportunities. Registration is available

Ten professional development sessions will be offered at the Leadership
Summit. Hall Davidson’s topic will be Thinking Bigger with Media While the
World Gets Smaller, and available as a podcast following the Summit. Keith
Krueger, CEO for the Consortium for School Networking, will give an update
on federal E-Rate and EETT funding. Other topics covered will be On-line
Courses With Visual Media: It's Here, It's Now, It's Time by Ross Davis,
Seattle Community Colleges Television; K-12 Use of Internet by Michael
Lambert and Wendy Huntoon of the Pittsburgh Super Computer Center; “Learning
Online in the Lab Sciences—a Number of Hits! by Gail Wortmann, Iowa Learning
Online; and Tim Lucas will conclude the Summit with a session directed at
educational media and technology leadership, called Dealing with Rapid
Change. There will also be Best Practice presentations and panel
discussions led by NAMTC institutional members, covering statewide
cooperative purchasing, statewide digital initiatives, IP based video and
use of online resources for K-12 teachers.
