Sorry for the cross posting:
I know I have asked this before, but for my proposal to add videogames
to our collection, I was asked to get some more information. So, if you
could kindly help...
1. How many libraries get video games? Does LibGaming have a
count? (If you don't collect, please don't send me an e- mail
saying you don't.)
2. How did you decide what game formats to collect?
3. If you collect cartridge game formats (DS, Wii, etc,) or any
other format that is not similar to a DVD or CD disc, how do you
package, shelve, secure and circulate them?
Thank you for all your help!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
