Announcing the ALA Midwinter Video Round Table "Dinner and a Movie" get
together.

Traditionally we have arranged for a Friday night dinner, but this year
we are opting for a Sunday night event.

After dinner we will head over to the Northwest Film Forum for a showing
of the forum's "Search and Rescue" program featuring rare, obscure, and
ephemeral 16 mm films that NWFF and the UW Library Special Collections
department have saved from oblivion.

The Northwest Film Forum and the University of Washington Libraries
Special Collections will host a special showing of the Search and Rescue
program for the Video Round Table. A discussion about the preservation
issues related to 16 mm films will follow the screening.
