If you have a local TV Repair guy he could install a headphone jack that
switches off the onboard speakers...

Subject: [Videolib] televisions w/o headphone jacks[Scanned]
I hope this question isn't inappropriate for the list ...

We've received (and cannot return) six televisions that do not have
headphone jacks. This is a problem as all of our viewing stations are
out in an open area of the library. I purchased some RCA cables and a
headphone jack adapter that allows for headphone use but they do not
silence the built-in speakers.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.
